Cook in 1.2 L water with turmeric and green chilies until tender (about 25–30 min). Add a little extra water only if needed, keeping the final dhal mix close to 1.5 L.
Mix Hello Pure coconut milk powder with 450 ml hot water to make coconut cream and add to dhal.
Temper mustard seeds, onion, garlic, dry red chilli, cumin, pandan, and curry leaves in Hello Pure coconut oil.
Add tempering to dhal, simmer briefly, and season with salt.
